09.07.08: Celebrate Boo's 4th Birthday

09.07.08 Sunday:
We celebrated Boo's birthday by having a dinner just Mummy & Daddy @ our favorite cantonese restaurant that we haven't been for ages. The familiar 3 friendly waitresses that likes to play with BooBoo is no longer there.

We ordered Boo's favorite food. Fried fish fillet (sea bass) and egg (steamed egg that comes with 4 prawns). Boo doesn't eat seafood like prawn, squid, shellfish etc or orange fish (salmon).


09.08.08 Monday:
Boo brings the hair rubber bands (girls) & tiny cars (boys) to school to share with her classmates.
The night before, mummy wraps the small gifts & indicate each child's name on it.
Boo decides which color for each of her friend.


Again, like previous few weeks, she refuses to put on her swimming costume before going to school. But today, she's slightly better. Boo has to go for swimming lessons which her childcare teachers will help bring to the swimming pool.


As she still cannot tell the days of the week or recognise the day, she would ask me every night, tomorrow must go swimming or not...? When I tell her 'yes' that tomorrow is Monday, she would burst into tears.... She's afraid of water getting into her face, eyes, nose or submerging face into the water...
How's she ever going to know how to swim?


In the evening, instead of cooking, we went to Hans.
Whereby Boo likes to eat rice with the mixed vegetable soup.
She eats the fish & pork and soup with rice. (no vegetables at all.)

Then we go back home to eat the Blossoms (ice-cream) cake which Boo had indicated she liked when she came across a picture of it (ecoupon) in Daddy's car. She like the flowers on top of the cake and that is is very small cake.

She was very excited over the school celebration of National Day with a rectangle shaped flag cake. She did not get to blow the candles in school.


Boo is quite certain that this time on her birthday, she would like to blow the candle herself at home.
One candle will do!
